I ride myself, and judging from the looks of what’s LEFT of his bike, I doubt very seriously that he made it! Besides, I THINK the title of these photos was “Deadly Accidents”, or whatever. Those “crotch rockets” are little more than a street-legal RACING bike! I work as a nurse on a Trauma/Surgery floor, and whe we see bike accidents, it’s usually when the person was riding one of these.

I ride a Harley as well.
My neighbor was the emt that was one of the first on the scene. she said he was going about 170 mph weaving through traffic bein a dumbass. when he couldn’t swerve out of the way and hit the back of the truck. he died instantly and his helmet got stuck in the door. the driver of the truck didnt even realize until someone flagged him down more than 2 miles down the road. ouch. yet another reason that if your going to own a bullet bike dont be a fag.

I personely think, yes maybe this accident was caused by the bike driver not paying attention, …… but! we dont know that for fact, it could be that the lorry slammed its breaks on, iv gone into the back of other cars whilst drivin once and hand on my heart the person in front did an emergency stop for no reason. Accidents happen all the time thats why they are called accidents, wether or not this was the bike riders fault he is a human being and DIED!! have little fucking respect!!

This guy didn’t live. He hit the back of the truck with his head going over 100 mph. His arm fell off when they removed his body from the truck. One of his friends died a few days later from a motorcycle accident. This accident happened on 169 in Tulsa, OK.

When someone runs into the back of another vehicle it is their fault. Even if the leading driver makes a random quick stop, the person following should be far enough back to be able to avoid a wreck. If you’ve crashed into people multiple times because they stopped for “no reason” maybe you should consider following at a safe distance instead of tailgating.
As for this guy, how much faster than the truck did he have to be going to put his head through a metal door like that? I’m sick of these fools with crotch-rockets weaving in and out of traffic at over 100mph. It seems like every few months I read about another dumb high school kid killing himself racing or trying to wheelie. Really, is it worth it? This happened in Tulsa Oklahoma, i watched it happen. Trust me when i say, this guy did not live. He was not dragged 2 miles, he was dragged about 500 yards. I worked as a contractor for ODOT at the time, i was doing maint on the side of the road, hwy 169, when he passed me about 150 mph, i watched him top the hill and hit the truck, it was a sound i will never forget. It was also a sight i will never forget.

You guys have to realize that driving a big rig takes a while to slow down, at least 2 miles from highway speeds. I read a news article that said the driver felt a small impact, so slowed down and stopped. This is what he found. What a horrible feeling that must have been.

I don’t know this guy (like apparently everyone else does). I am a rider, though, (Triumph 955cc triple cyl), and I have been in many races of street bikes, dirt bikes, and BMX. I have crashed many times…I’ve walked away with just a little road rash and muffler burn from 70 mph wipeouts wearing helmet and armor, and I have crushed my skull (forehead and eye socket) in a 20 mph moped on a 50cc moped wearing no helmet. I’m very experienced with bike accidents, and though I don’t know this guy (like apparently everyone else does), I am sure that can’t tell for sure from the pictures whether or not he died. One would think that the paramedic wouldn’t allow pictures if he was actually dead. There is one way you can know for sure, though: read an accurate report with excerpts from the local newspaper at http://www.snopes.com/photos/accident/tulsacrash.asp
The poor guy died doing what he loved: going fast. I, too, love to go fast, and I have lost friends along this path. I can’t say anything bad about it, I’ve gone nearly 180mph on my Triumph and it was one of the best experiences of my life. well frm wat i see, he got a pretty deathly blow to the head,his neck is still trapped,i wonder if his neck broke and his feet have on no shoes due to the constant hauling of his lower body on the road,he lost his shoes and the damage to the feet might be terrifying. i dont think he lived although its possible,but if he did then he better learn frm this experience and stick to a car, cuz he cant manage the bike. jus look at it, it cud have been worse!

FYI>>>>If any anyone cares….the guy is really dead. His name was Brandon White. The crash happened April 17, 2007 off US 169 in Tulsa, OK. He was 26. He was going an estimated 120 mph when he hit the truck. He was dead on impact. If anyone cares to read the article it in the Tulsa World Newspaper. Besides..the pictures posted are not all that were taken. Some of the others show an EMT prying his head out of the truck with a crowbar…don’t think they do that to survivors. To all the people who have said “it’s impossible for someone to live through this,” all I can say is that people have lived through stranger events. Not saying this guy is probably alive. In fact, I would say 99.99% chance he is dead.
My bro was involved in a horrible accident in NYC a year ago at Christmas time. A drunk truck driver (yes, some douchebag was driving while drunk.) Not only that, but the truck was driving at over 50 MPH on a surface street through friggin upper-west side of manhattan! And he blows a red light. He blew the red light as my twin bro was in the intersection, plowed through the ass end of his car. Nothing left of the cart at all, except for the seat he was sitting in. My bro escaped without even so much as a scratch. He was passed out when rescuers finalyl arrived on the scene. They thought he was dead for sure. But turns out, not even a scratch or a bruise. Perfectly fine as if he just climbed out of bed! lol.

The paramedic that came to our school said the kid lived all because of his helmet,they said he had passed out because of the impact of the hit and he was dragged almost a mile…

There is absolutely no way this man survived this accident. He is dead. Look it up on the internet. This is a very good reason not to not buy motorcycles but to not tailgate. Motorcycles can be safe, just maybe not traveling at 140mph too close to a semi.

in also his nose probally got brok and if he did survive again with another sanario he would die any way because he has only 5-10% now im not a docter/nures but thats all brain power he has so no hes dead.
No way could he have survived that. The impact it would have take to puncture the back end of that truck would have broke his neck.
Now idk where Brady got 5″ of steal from because I don’t care how fast a human head is traveling, it’s not going to penetrate 5″ of steal before blowing up from kinetic energy.
Plus just look how he’s hanging there by his head. 2 miles of that would have killed him let alone the impact. That kind of tension would have separated at least 2 of his cervical vertebrae at which point one small bump or twist would have severed the nerves.
To Hoglover. The bike is not the factor in why the deaths are higher in “crotchrocket” riders. it is the personality type which rides them. You can die just as easily on a Harley. However the two main consumers (but not the total sum) of Harleys are A. Younger Weekened Warriors wearing brandnew leathers toting their girlfriends on the back, executive types. and B. Older True “Harley” riding bikers who aren’t interested in wheelieing and doing 170 MPH. Which they’ve had their share of spills and stupidity when they were younger. Most sportbike consumers are males between the ages of 18 and 30. This demographic is notorious for bouts of testosterone-induced displays of aggression and competitiveness. It’s just psychology and the predisposition to pushing the limits. But unfortunate nonetheless.

URL: go to their myspace A motorcyclist moving at an estimated 120 MPH smashed headlong into the rear of a semi rig early Tuesday morning.
Tuesday afternoon, Tulsa police identified him as Brandon White, 25, of Tulsa.
It happened shortly after 1:00 a.m. near the 8100 block of South U.S. 169.
The motorcycle traveled several hundred yards after impact, ending up about 8500 S. U.S. 169. The truck was nearly to 91st Street before it could come to a complete stop.
Emergency responders say White died instantly, despite the fact he wore a helmet.
He actually impaled himself into the rear of the truck, head first, and was then dragged along behind the truck until the driver of the semi could pull it over.
Rescue workers found him dangling from the rear of the truck.
The trucker told officers the impact made him think he’d been hit by another truck.
The medical examiner will try to determine if White might have been intoxicated at the time.
Accident investigators believe his speed at time of impact was around 120 MPH.
Now to all of you ill wishers or people that think this is funny and he deserved it. Does any1 really deserve something like this whether it is their fault for speeding or not and it is not a laughing matter. this is someones son, maybe a brother, or boyfriend, grandson, best friend.
