Don’t sleep and drive…….

Was driving along the Hume highway between Sydney and Melbourne (Australia) about 2am. I was aged 19 at the time. Been driving 8 hours already after a 9 hour shift at work.
From what I was told later in hospital, the car swerved off the road, and somersaulted half a dozen times before landing in a padock. I climbed out the window under my own power apparently. The first thing I remembered after driving is the hospital
Injuries were a cut thumb with a pulled tendon, bruised shoulder and a bad bump on the head. Lucky…….
