That’s what it all comes down to when you take unnecessary risks, huh? I don’t know the story behind this, but he is gone, the other driver has to live with it. And kind of prolific that they are hosing off the road in the last picture. This would do well in any driving education course I should think.

I was thinking of buying a motor cycle.
I think I will stick with cars and trucks.
Cars and trucks have air bags and steel around the operator.
Nurses in ER refer to Bikers as “Organ donors”

Funny that everyone assumes it was recklessness on the part of the cyclist that caused the accident. It’s just as reasonable to assume that the dump truck crossed into the biker’s side of the road as it is the other way around. Just because you choose to ride doesn’t automatically mean you’re reckless! Stop stereotyping and profiling! (See, it’s not only RACIAL stereotyping and profiling we need to guard against!)

My husband and I ride, this is one of my worst fears while we are on the road riding. People in cars, trucks, and other vehicles have no respect for some of us so called “Bikers” out on the road. I have two children and I think of them the whole time I’m on the bike and pray that I make it home to their smiling faces. i respect the road, the other people on the road, no matter what you are driving or riding. I really wish people would have more respect for the riders and think about it, it could be your son or daughter on that bike!! damn, when are all you idiots going to learn, you’re no more safe in a car or truck! I’ve had more people I know die in car accidents than on a bike! if anything, the ones on the bikes are the better “drivers”. WE HAVE to be, because of disrespecting idiots in there “safe” rides!

Can someone please tell me how to get my ex husband to STOP taking my 4 and 5 year old CHILDREN for rides on the back of his motor bike. The thought of what could so easily happen to them is more than I can bear.

My friend wants to buy a motorcycle… and its stuff like this (and much worse that I’ve seen) that makes me fear for her when she gets one. Just as everyone else, I hope never to see her disfigured on the side of the road like this. Plus, my father almost died in a motorcycle accident.
