You know what DAVE ? That is a COLD statement made by you. I find that even more appalling since I have a son named Dave that also owns one of these “rice rockets” and has told me all manner of stories about going fast and having close calls. I believe him because I know him. I have tried everything I know to get him to sell his ’sport’ bike.
BUT, YOU KNOW WHAT ELSE?????? No one is able to get them to change their minds. They have to change them on their own and hopefully it will be after learning from SOMEONE ELSE’S MISTAKES !!!!
And Tawnya, I too feel extreme loss for the poor family of this person’s selfish act. I am always sad to see someone scraped along the roadway like this at any time and I have seen more of this than most of all of you combined.
I grew up the son of a auto wrecking yard owner and our house was within the business fence so all the cars towed in were in our front yard, side yard , and all around us. The bloodiest, and most severly crashed ones were no exception. They usually sat near the shop and house areas as they were the ones that had to be looked at by the insurance people and so on.
I have never been a total stranger to death. When you crawl in a car to take off a part and the floor mats squish blood, you have to wonder whose life left them there, and why.
I grew up riding motorbikes when I was 5 years old. Five. Not a mini bike or pocket bike or scaled down bike. I started with a 90 cc Hodaka and worked my way up from there. I never grew tired of riding…hours and hours and hours. I would have never come home except for gas.
I have rode off road all my life and tried riding on the highway with a 650 cc Yamaha twin. I have had SO many close calls on the twin that I quit on road riding after one year. The stress was too much.
After about 20 near misses I finally caught a pickup across the road broadside. Now, all these close calls you would think I am a terrible driver. I submit to you that if I had not been an EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD driver, each one of them would have been a crash.
I NEVER broke a speed limit, never rode recklessly, never disobeyed any traffic laws, always rode with my lights on and ALWAYS wear a helmet. There was nothing I can see that caused any of these close calls. The one I finally hit was drunk and tried to U-turn in front of me. Thankfully I was doing far, far, less than the posted speed limit and only damaged my bike and not myself. Still, that was the end of the road for me.
I had not seen my son in years and when I first caught up to him again he had this jet on two wheels as his prize possesion. I tried very tactfully to try and persuade him to get rid of it and get something tamer. I have also suggested to him that he rid himself of that coffin on wheels in a not so subtle way. I tried to convince him to get an off road bike and go that way if he needs to ride, but he has resisted up to now.
Now he has a new wife, a new baby, a new job, and a life that he finally feels is more important than that bike and the thrill it gives him. I WILL send my son these pictures because I love him. He will be as shocked and disgusted as I was when I first looked at them.
I get more ill every time I see them and feel the urge to vomit at the sight of this waste of a human life. What was he like? Was he involved with family? Was he married or have kids? Who else suffers from his loss? He never took any of this into account when he swung his leg over this killing machine.
These types of motorcycle were never intended for the highway. They are designed to travel in a circle on a closed track at speeds equal to or approaching that of a NASCAR racing car. 200 mph or more!!!!! How do they think this is appropriate on a public road? We are all lucky that this poor soul ONLY killed himself and not a family driving innocently down the road with their family and children!
So, juancorona, as far as trying to reach someone about this fearful “sport” bike and convincing them to reach into theirself and find the sense to rid themselves of this killer temptation, I think you SHOULD show this picture to them! Copy and print, email or snailmail, send them the web link or anything you can do to get this picture to them!!!!

riding a motorcycle is a risk. so is driving a car. so is riding in a car. every person decides what level of risk is acceptable to him or herself and must live (or die) with their decision.
to all those who show pictures like this to someone trying to get them not to ride, that’s your right. but if they decide to ride anyway, respect their decision, don’t think they’re stupid or have a death wish. go look at pictures of people decapitated on ferris wheels, crushed on sailboats, shot while walking down the street. you don’t then try to convince people not to sail, go to a carnival or walk to the 7-11 do you?
one thing that everyone (including those of you trying to discourage a rider or potential rider) should take away from these photos is that motorcycles or cars need to be treated with respect and operated with as much training as possible. it is irresponsible to climb on an R1 thinking that you could just figure it out as you go along. wrecker, you have been riding a long time. so have i. you’ve had near misses at or below the speed limit, as you say. so have i. we know your son’s tales of near death at high speed could just as easily be tales of near death at 15 mph. i am married. one kid. i still ride. i do the advanced rider course every time it’s offered. i manage my risks. do you think *I* am submitting to a “killer temptation?” of course not. i do everything necessary to ride safely, still knowing that i could get hit. then again, i could get killed in my car, by the same drunk driver who wouldn’t see me in EITHER vehicle.
motorcycle riders die, sure. but UNEDUCATED riders die more readily. and STUPID riders, those who know but should really know *better*, die more spectacularly than any of us. sometimes they take a safe rider or an innocent passenger with them, which is a real tragedy.
tell those you love who ride or want to ride - get trained. again. take the MSF course. again. and again. where i live helmets are optional; again, a risk management choice. laws don’t help much; put a helmet on a dumb rider and he’s still dumb. you haven’t improved anything, and now HE thinks he’s safer!
as for the guy in this set of pictures, regardless of his riding gear or training, he exceeded his limits, ran into bad luck, made a mistake, or God just wasn’t on his side that day.
Everybody needs to shut the fuck up and do what they want. Still that must hurt….

I’ve wanted a Sport Bike for years, but after seeing this photo I’ve completly changed my mind. Wrecker has your son seen this photo? If not maybe the shock value of it might convince him to give it up. I love motorcycles and completly agree that they should have never been used on streets. Defensive driving is never enough. People in their cars hardly ever pay attention, their too busy on their cell phones and dont really care because they have seat belts and air bags!!!! The bigger Machine always wins. Semi’s are the biggest problem. Theres so many blind sides they wont see your ass then all of a sudden you end up like this guy. From the looks of it he had to have been hit by a fast moving object like a Semi for him to rip apart like that. The one question about this picture that I have is, Wheres all the blood? The dudes ripped in have, half of his heads missing, his entrails are outside of his body. No blood. Also theres a lack of emergency personel, firefighters, ambulences, police, wreck investigators!!!!! I’m pretty sure this could happen in real life and believe me i’ve seen my fair share of dead bodies and all seem tp bleed!!!!

Am I the only one who noticed the caption? This was a STUNT that went wrong–it was a STAGED situation that was SUPPOSED to be “larger-than-life!” Therefore, it was likely MORE dangerous than what everyday riders will be subjected to while riding. Let’s not forget the context–it makes the entire difference. Yes, it’s a horrifying image, but it IS outside of reasonable expectations for 99% of all bikers. And using it as persuasive material is somewhat IRRESPONSIBLE without disclosing that it was an artificially created scenario.
25032009
Chickie (11:19:57) :
I agree with Marine’s comment regarding the lack of blood. Although there is spurious amounts of blood ON TOP of the “torso”, there are no pools of blood underneath these artfully arranged (imho) “body” pieces. They almost look to me like mannequins, such as might be used in training exercises. Or propaganda against the motorcycling lifestyle. Anyone else notice that the hands are “conveniently” covered, and you don’t see the head or face? Those body parts are often difficult to realistically recreate, and are often omitted when they’re not germaine to the issue. Either the entire photo was staged, or, like my original comment, the situation was staged. But it sure has served to generate conversation!

People have to understand that even thou you have protective gear on, going at a rate of 120mph+, nothing will save you. Once you lose control of the bike you can’t go back, so yes Proper Gear will help you in a crash but going at a ridiculous speed which you shouldn’t be going, you are asking for a death wish. I wish the family the best and I will keep this in mind when I ride to always be safe at whatever I do.

I have been riding sport bikes for about 9 years now and i can safely say that irresponsible careless and lazy riders are the ones who get killed. I have ridden for 11 years and thought this would never happen to me either but guess what this dip shit pulled out in front of me. i was runing around 55 or so when this dude came out from behind oncoming traffic and hit me head on dont remember just know that it hurt like hell. i dont want to talk anyone from rideing a sports bike but u need to respect them and remember that the ground hurts. as far as this wreck i feel bad for the family but thats a risk that everyone takes everytime they get on one the question is just how bad do u want to die. as long as all riders remember this and only ride within there limits u as a rider should be fine but is the people that u cant control that get you. and for those that think that this is funny have got some bad issues. as a former marine we took care of our own and that still stands for all that ride with me today.
To everyone claiming this is fake because of the lack of blood, a missing head, or missing hands.. You are wrong! When a person dies instantly blood does not pool around the body because the brain, and heart no longer operate to pump blood out of the body. Instead the blood absorbs into the surrounding tissue. Also, as you can see in the depicted pictures, the body parts are mangled and there is a trail of blood following the path of the body parts as they slid across the pavement. Depending on how far the body was dragged across the pavement, and how it was position when hitting the pavement, it is very likely that the head and hands no longer exist. They would grind away like sandpaper does to wood.
wow that sucks! i have 20plus friends with mortorcycles wish i could email them this!

Stupid fucker i have owned a bullet bike for the last 3 years. They aren’t bad unless your a complete dumbass. The absolute only way you can wreck a bullet bike is if your stupid as fuck. hence i feel no pitty for this stupid ass.
Dang, none of that safety equipment worked. That’s just a lesson for everyone.
I’m pretty sure this could happen in real life and believe me i’ve seen my fair share of dead bodies and all seem tp bleed!!!!
you should take care of your self when youdriving
Cry my a fucking river Wrecker 55.
he really should get his shit together.
i can almost garentee that this guy was not doing the speed limit
Did no one notice that theres two people there the first clue should be two differant shoes and the next should be in 1 pic theres 2 torsos you just can just see the neck on the other that dude musta been haulin ass and if you hit something comin the other way might as well hit a wall doin a 100 his showboat days are pretty much done fer!
And this is why i fear for my friends who own a motorcycle, speed kills and they know it yet they continue to push their luck.
R.I.P ……..
Holy crap i’m only thirteen but still that is not good. Dave.. your a complete ass. At least give him the respect of having gear on
i cant believe you people are acualy leaving comments you guys are funny haha
You know what, I think this is a fake scene because of the lack of blood
Oh I didn’t realize someone had already pointed that out
In the end this was a person, somebodys child, brother, cousin, grandson, nephew; ect… REGARDLESS of what he was doing… show som respect for him and anyone he knew him. I hope that this tragic picture proves to people that we are not immortal and that we should be careful.
I see both sides to this. Its is very sad that this happened to this guy but… there is also the possibility the guy was a show off and going over the speed limit wich costed him his life.
Motorcyclists! START SEEING CARS!
ride safe
At least his death looked quick, In more ways than one.
This is LT GARY HENRICKS all you people need a lesson on respect and its a shame your parents didnt boot your ass whenyou were younger because your all disrespectful people and a discrace to the community and the family of the victim if i was on wbsite monitor duty at the detachment you would all be charged with gross neglegance especially (wrecker55 who thinks ridicule will fix how he really feels wait till it happens to you we will laught at you. grow a god damn brain)
- A lack of significant amount of blood in an accident scene means that the rider(s), in this case, died instantly.
- Does it really matter how severe a motorcycle accident has to be to get people’s attention? The end result is the same: you die anyways.
shit happens
People have to understand that even thou you have protective gear on, going at a rate of 120mph+, nothing will save you. Once you lose control of the bike you can’t go back, so yes Proper Gear will help you in a crash but going at a ridiculous speed which you shouldn’t be going, you are asking for a death wish. I wish the family the best and I will keep this in mind when I ride to always be safe at whatever I do.
im sure he had a very bad burritto so he drove super fast way home to get some releif… he ended like a burritto .. irony.. its superfucked
hahaha, i like pretzels
so sad
did bike is ok?
i hope it was instant
Seen the picture still riding.Try showing this to those assholes who dont respect riders or sport bikes.after i saw this i got a bigger traffic cop for myself.Go right ahead and blame anyone or anything you want. You can watch me blow the rust off your wheels.I love riding and this is a tragedy but if im gonna snuff it at least i go with a grin.If you fuck with me or my bike i will break every piece of glass and mirror and head i can reach.Peace to the family try not to dwell on this tragedy,It is over now, remember your loved and lost but dont be afraid to live, its what they would want.
I’m sorry but maybe I missed where they said the rider was speeding? If not, why do people always assume the guy on the rice burner was speeding or driving recklessly? I’m sure the family was devastated - sure looks real to me, but what do I know. If not, at least it makes for some pretty tasty pics to pass on to my peeps. Gnarly. I love blood and guts - sure glad I stumbled upon this site.
o losie ale go roztrzepaĆo !! jestem w szoku !!
YOU GUYS ARE SO FUCKED UP.. DAVE ESPECIALLY .. he was still a man if not a young boy, how dare you say inexpensive population COntrol you dont know shit , i ride bikes and yes it saddens me when this happens but you can die being stupid in a car… its just a quicker death. you obviously have never had a bike.. Respect the DEAD FOR GOD SAKE… i understand you can be stupid on bike, but thats anything with a motor. Wear gear if its your time its your time ,, all the days of our lives are written in the book the LORD..
Im sorry for the family of this young man
its ok he is still alive. it doesnt look to bad.
You people know what?
You don`t know s#$@^t.
It is very obvious that most of you especially Dave and Dave`s father and Juancorona are nothing but SINGLE MINDED ASSHOLES!!!! What you are saying is that only bikers die!!!! No No don`t now backpedal. Were you there? Did you SEE the accident happen??? Maybe it was an asshole like yourself that CAUSED the accident.
So Shut up and F… OFF!!!!!
haha he got owned.
Heres the deal, only 4% of motorcycle accidents are fatal, yet this is a grim description of that 4%. I have been riding sport bikes for about 9 years now and i can safely say that irresponsible careless and lazy riders are the ones who get killed. Ride a bike the right way or youl either get lucky to tell about it or end up like our friend in the red jacket up here. Remember you are your bike, if it goes down you go down with it.
Drive safe.
Hello people. It’s called photo shop! this is faaaaaaaaake
very well said marty..
I have ridden for 11 years and thought this would never happen to me either but guess what this dip shit pulled out in front of me. i was runing around 55 or so when this dude came out from behind oncoming traffic and hit me head on dont remember just know that it hurt like hell. i dont want to talk anyone from rideing a sports bike but u need to respect them and remember that the ground hurts. as far as this wreck i feel bad for the family but thats a risk that everyone takes everytime they get on one the question is just how bad do u want to die. as long as all riders remember this and only ride within there limits u as a rider should be fine but is the people that u cant control that get you. and for those that think that this is funny have got some bad issues. as a former marine we took care of our own and that still stands for all that ride with me today.
that is just messd up poor guy
wow……God help.
that is sum NASTY shit
