this is a perfect example of what can hapen if you don’t wear a helmet.
i see people riding without helmets far too often. DON’T BE STUPID! Wear a helmet!!!
always, weather going on a long ride or going down the street.
and remember when your on a bike, YOU ARE INVISIBLE! and keep that mentality, it may save your life.
(i do not wan’t to anger anyone, i was not calling this rider stupid, but i do believe you are stupid if you purposely ride without a helmet.)

i totally agree with u that anyone who ride a motorcycle withoth a helmet do not value their life. I get so tired of hearing people dying unnecessary. I wish that everyone realize that JESUS die on the cross so that we could have llife more abundely and not take it for granted. I was totally sadden when i saw that picture of someone’s child lying dead on the street. I hope that picture be an eye opener for the many motor cycle riders . Helmets may not always prevent death but it could help to prevent a many of them because many bike riders die from head trauma. Ms, Tee from new orleans l
Traffic Officers & Law Enforcers must have a check point every now & then, dont let these guys roaming around the streets without proper motorcycle gears, Guys, we really need you on this, if you have to revoke the license then go on, in this way you maybe able to lessen this kind of accidents.
Implementation of the Law is all we have to do… for the safety of the people not only the motorcyclist but as well as the public in general…
GOD BLESS US ALL.

you know, why belive that a helmet would save your life? My husband died on a motorcycle accident with a helmet, which his head opened and died of brain trauma right on the act, so just because people use helmet does not mean you are safe. Maybe motorcycles should not be riden for any reason. Well this is my advice to you guys, he left a 4 year old son who now is without a father because of a motorcycle.

Okay so say for example that this young man was wearing a helmet. You think that a helemt is going to prevent him from dying???How is a hlemet going to help his being crippled, or a collapsed lung???His legs and stomach had a lot of road rash, how is a helmet going to save him???My husband rides and my best friend was in a horrific accident involving her motorcycle being hit by a dumb driver, but all the fault was her not wearing a helmet people said!!! She didnt die and had to undergo various surgeries, but the most damage was to her legs, How would a helemt help her legs????
I was just in a motorcycle accident… yea, helmets can’t ALWAYS save you, but I heard mine crack on the ground and let me tell you, very thankful I was wearing it. It’s never worth the risk of not wearing it.

My husband was wearing a full face helmet when a car driver made a left turn into my husband’s oncoming lane.
The only thing that the helmet did was keep him from dying instantly. My husband fought to stay alive and suffered very serious injuries including his right eye having to be removed, his spleen removed, his liver repaired, his left shoulder shattered, multiple facial fractures and the most serious of all, brain stem injury and massive brain injury. If my husbands kidneys and liver didn’t start shutting down, he would have lived in a vegetative state for the rest of his life. Three weeks later when the trach was removed Tim’s parents and I watched my husband slowly die. He stopped breathing 19 1/2 hours after the trach was removed. A helmet did not spare my husband from severe brain injury. The doctors think that Tim could have been blind in his left eye from the accident along with having his right eye removed. Please realize that this can happen to you if you ride a motorcycle. Think how having even one of these injuries could impact your life and your families life. Tim was 36 years old and leaves behind a 8 year old son, his parents, a brother, and many more family and friends who loved him.

Sam from France (16:10:08) :
Wearing a helmet doesn’t always save your life. But even if it does once, then it’s worth it.
Please, wear a helmet when riding a motorcycle, it is the only thing that protects your head.
You can survive a broken arm, you can survive a severe leg injury, but there are very little chances you can escape from death if your skull hurts the ground or any hard object at a certain speed and if you do, the consequences may be so terrible you’d wish you died.
Please, wear a helmet every time you go for a ride. Do it for all those you love and who love you.

I am a medic and am constantly amazed at the naivety of people. including many of those who have posted here. A helmet has saved my life and many of my friends lives. I assume those of you who advocate not wearing helmets also don’t wear seatbelts in your car and purposefully buy cars without airbags. You should also consider not checking the traffic before walking across the street. A lot of you have used the “it’s my life” line. Have you ever thought how your death could affect others? If I die my grandparents would probably drop dead and my parents would never be the same. My friends would be devastated.
Thank G-d in my country it is illegal to ride without a helmet.
I have 1 question for the lady whose husband was wearing a full face “that only prevented his instant death”. If that helemt could have allowed him to live long enough to say goodbye to you and his children - do you not think he would have wanted that? I pose my question with all due respect and offer my heartfelt condolences for the trauma and loss you have experienced.

I just bought a motorcycle. I am 30 years old. I have never had a street bike before but I did ride dirt bikes as a kid. The reason I bought the bike is because I’m tired of paying 250 bucks a month just to drive back and forth to work. My wife is a full time student and she spends at least that much if not more each month. My father use to ride. He told me about his 2 accidents he was in. My mother and step father ride. They almost hit the edge of a bridge once. I guess I’ll have to learn for myself how to ride and be a careful rider. I’ve only been out on the bike a few times now and it is very nerve racking. To be honest, after reading all this it scares me to even get back on my bike. There are however fatal car accidents every day. I am no religious nut, but I know where I stand with the Lord. I am not afraid to die. Oh sure, I’m not looking forward to the “sting” of death, but I know there will come a day when we all will meet our maker. I do believe I have a time and a place set aside for me. Be it in a motorcycle accident, car accident, work accident, old age…….whatever. I have a loving wife of 12 years and 3 beautiful children. I will wear a helmet. I don’t want to increase the chance of never being able to see, hold, hug, or kiss them again. Nevertheless, gas prices have gone trough the roof and certin people like me need to make the necessary adjustment to keep that gas bill as low as possible. I’ll be traveling about 55 miles round trip. I will be able to cut my gas bill by about 65%. Hopefully Obama, if elected, will follow through with his promise of lowering gas prices. Get it back down around the 2 dollar mark and I’ll sell my bike. It’s only been around 50 degrees here and I’ve froze my ass off the few times I’ve been out on it. :]

My sister-in-law was just in a motercycle accident Sunday and if she wouldn’t have been wearing her helmet she would have been dead. The helmet took most of the blow. She paid a little more and got one of the best helmet and I think that was the best thing she did. She still got hurt but she’s not dead and she is going to recover fully. Everyone should have to wear a helmet.

I feel so bad for the people that dont have that person becaues of a bike. I have a bike and my brain tells me I probably shouldnt be riding this thing. At at 30 mph hour its like taking a head dive off a 3 story building at 40 its like a 4 story and and 50 its like a 5 storey window, if you jump of a 4 story6 window and land on your feet you will die from the impact the only people that survive crashes like that are if they dont hit anything. To wear a helmet is like living a lie, it just makes you be paralized instead brain dead. And knowing how my mom drives it doesnt suprise me that so many people die from bike crashes. I just wonder if i buy a cruise bike do accident rates go down over sports bikes. I alway drive slow on yellow line roads its a lot of work riding a bike and if you stupid riding bike eventually you will die. Maybe not the first time or the second time but one day that car will not look to go in the left lane a mere fender bender with cars but death to you.

Hey Mr Doctor, he was brain dead so that question or that asnwer is no cause even though he wore one he could say bye, are you a moron, stop saying your a Dr it put other real doctors to shame. And if he could say bye trust me that would be the least of his problems. Think about it well at least i wore a helmet soi can say bye before i die. Lots of people die suddenly with no control over there deaths and they dont say bye so whats your point. And the girl that wrote that stupid bike drivers like us need to hear that you might evne move somone directly to finaly give up their bikes. I am getting rid of mine at the end of the summer. Its not as fun as i thought and i like my life i want to live. At least know he did nothing wrong it was out of his control and i would sue that girls insurance company to the hilt and her civily for involuntary manslaughter and punitive damages for your pain your going through. my 17 yr old friend(one of myclosest) was killed in november on his motorcycle. his life was taken and now his friends dont get to see him graduate or go to prom or any of that and his mother is left without her only son(as well as only child). he was infact wearing his helmet but the dumbass old hag who caused his death decided she wanted to drive right in front of him and try and cross 3 lanes of traffic instead of waiting and took his life and almost his girlfriend’s. wearing a helmet does help save lives but its not the only answer and often times you cant blame the rider them self. one cannot control how someone else drives or the risks they are going to take. the victim in these pictures could have been completely that, a victim, he could have been doing everything right and driving cautiously so dont always be quick to blame the rider. however i do believe that wearing a helmet is a necessity and every time i pass someone on a motorcycle and they arent wearing a helmet it upsets me because no one should have to go through the pain of losing someone like that, especially so young…

Wow, this makes me think twice about life!! Today, while I was on my way to school, I saw another student, who had just left campus, laying on the ground, very similar to this guy. He was not moving and laying in a pool of blood. His bike was shattered into pieces. It must of just happened because there were no responders on the scene at that point. Oh yeah, HE WAS WEARING A HELMET, according to authorities, but at impact, his helmet was launched about 20ft thus killing him instantly when his bear head struck the ground. Seeing this first hand, really made me upset today.
I have been riding dirt since I was a kid and love it tremendously! I have never rode street and have been SERIOUSLY considering riding street this summer. Riding street will not be my only means of transpo; I am just looking to ride on occasion and for enjoyment! After reading many of the above posts and seeing this kid laying lifelessly on the pavement is making me reconsider. I DON’T KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO.

It’s very sad what happened to your husband, but also keep in mind that his situation was a very individual instance. Your arguing that not wearing a helmet makes no difference; but that argument makes no logical sense. In “most” motorcycle accidents people die from head trauma. If these people would have worn a helmet, than the probability of them living would be higher. There are no absolutes here, one can similarly state that wearing a seatbelt doesn’t make a difference. Every accident is different, and in some, wearing a seatbelt really doesn’t make a difference because of the severity, however in the vast majority of accidents, wearing a seatbelt does make a big difference. Just remember we are speaking generally here, and as described by you helmets dont save lives in all accidents, but they do in most.

Anonymous (13:19:18) :
What I find surprising about every one of these posts is the argument over helmets, and how they don’t prevent broken legs or road rash.
Whats the answer to that?
Whenever I take my bike out, I wear a full faced helmet, and full bodysuit of motorcycle grade leather with armour on the shoulders, elbows, hips, knees and spine.
The only thing I am lacking is a neck brace, and apparently there is a new wave of street braces in development that I will definitely consider.
At the end of the day, NOTHING is going to save you when you wrap yourself round a tree at 50mph.. however from accidents described above, coming off the bike at speed and bouncing along the road for a while, full protective equipment has been proven to help.
Sure, it hurts, but I have friends who have came off with even some budget kit and sustained minimal injuries, and a friend who came off on the track at 140mph got up as soon as he got his breath back to check out the damage to his beloved bike.
So, with respect to everyone stating that it is their choice to wear a helmet, and for everyone saying “Helmets must be worn!”, my view is FULL kit must be worn at all times on the bike. If you are oka to risk your life like that, then spare a thought for the paramedics who have to peel you back of the ground again after you were such an arsehole to even think about sitting on the saddle with just a helmet, if that.
My sympathies to the families of the dead, however there should have been warning flags pre-ride when you went out so underprotected.

I am 42 years of age and have recently purchased a bike.
I have not owned a bike for about 20 years and decided after
loosing friends to cancer and the war that I would treat myself
to a bike. I explained to my wife that we are goint to die one day,
please allow me the opportunity to feel the freedom that one does
when riding a bike, or horse. (live in the city)
She bought me a helmet and full racing leathers. While on a cruise
a piece of metal flew into my shoulder. I lost controll and went down
hard. I felt my head hit the road hard, I slid for about 50 yards and
my body slammed into a concrete barrier. I suffered not road rash
,no concusion (spelling) and only a broken wrist and a piece of metal (
a part of what the police said was a brake pad, go figure) in my
shoulder. The doctors said that it was the first time he had ever seen
so much body armour on a motorcyclist, even a back & chest protector.
In short. Things might have been different if I had been hit by a truck
or car. The police still say I should be dead. Looking at the picture
above if the rider had been wearing my suit I think he would still be
alive.

My heart goes out to all of you. I lost my best friend and he was on his bike and no helmet. they say he might have made it if he was wearing one. A lot of good it did him now. My heart goes out to all of you who have suffered from the tragedies mentioned. Here in NH our moto is live free or die (trying) and that many people do for there is no helmet law here. I believe it is a choice as are seatbelts here for adults. When making choices some people do not think outside the box. the traula and pain for those affected sometimes has life long affects. Its your life and your chances ok I get it but if you have kids and a family wear protection so the media doesnt splatter your pic on the front page for all your friends and family to bare witness to the accident scene. My local paper didnt give a rats A** what damage they did. sensationalism sells papers and causes more undo grief and pain. i had the same attitude for years its my life then my daughter was born and my brother in-law the paramedic told me strait up yeah you got a fifty fifty chance if you dont wear your belt but on the chance you do crash and get ejected with your kid strapped in her car seat looking at her crushed dead mommy she”d never get to make a choice cuz her mommas dead. She is sixteen now and I still wear my belt and a helmet and she wears hers.

I was a paramedic for 10 yrs. I put many bodies in a body bag during my days as a medic. So, speaking from first hand experience….here is my view. Yes, helmets save lives. As medics, we used to refer to riders who rode without helmets as organ donors. Yes, that sounds cruel. But, we all saw it over and over again. Will a helmet always save you? NO…. a lot of bikers die from broken necks. Unless there is severe internal trauma….they can usually fix everything except your brain.
Seatbelts saving lives? Yep…they do also. I always tell people the statistics that I saw. I put at least 100 people in body bags who were not wearing a seatbelt in their vehicle. I only cut a seatbelt off of a dead body twice. That says a lot. Also, with airbags in conjunction with a seatbelt…your chances of living through a major accident is pretty good.
With all of this being said….I do have one more belief. I saw many terrible accidents in which the people should have died but were walking around at the scene. I also saw accidents that were pretty minor and the people died. So…I truly believe that no matter how skilled your caregiver is (medic, nurse, doctor) there is someone way above us making the final decision. That was the only way I could emotionally deal with the death that I saw.
For those of you who don’t believe in seatbelts or helmets…my final thought. If I could hook up a wire from my brain to yours and show you the pictures I still have in my head….you may look at things differently.
Thanks all….and God bless you.

I have a Harley Davidson. I have been riding for about two years or so. I know that wearing a helmet is not a cure all to not getting up from an accident. I love my bike and do love to ride. I do wear my helmet. I see myself as a FED EX sign logo. If you look at a FED EX truck logo you will see a secret arrow in the name. I am that logo in traffic. You must see yourself as you are not there. No one can see you. I am very careful. I dont speed. I see so many fast bikes pass me by and they are going at least 100 passed me. I dont understand why they feel if they have a fast bike they have to pass me going so fast. In and out of traffic. Those are the ones I call organ donors. I go 55-60 max on roads. I enjoy the ride. If you go that fast your not enjoying the ride. We all know if you ride a bike some day you will have an accident. That is just the truth. You will all of us do. Weather it is you or the other guy. But, if your going 100 and going too fast. Then that is why you dont walk away. I not saying I will walk away from my first accident. But, I took a course for Harley Riders Group for 4 days and it helped me tons. They help you ride and help you learn what to do in some things that can happen. Thanks for all the information I learned on here. I learned speed kills and helmets dont always help. Lisa )

We should not require people to wear helmets, but at the same time those who opt not to wear them should be entitled to NO SSI, no assistance when they become para or quadriplegic, no insurance settlements, so sympathy, no nothing. I had one bad wreck when hit head-on by a teen in ‘68. Cracked the helmet, smashed the leg, but lived to spend 14 active years in the Marines. Yea, we word helmets and flack jackets there. Yo Mama is right (not sure about the ‘Good Lord knocking’ bit though!) We ARE all free to make choices and if you accept the risks it’s fine. Of course pictures like these are distressing and when you lose someone it’s very distressing. But let’s face it, you don’t need to be on a motorbike to be killed. Simply crossing the road is potentially fatal! And no-one FORCED him to get on the bike, or ride without protection - that was his choice.
I have been riding motorbikes for almost 30 years and have had a couple of accidents along the way. But if I was to be killed, I wouldn’t want or expect my loved ones to turn ‘anti bike’. It’s my choice. If I wanted to ride my bike with no helmet, then it would be nice to think I COULD! (I DON’T, but I would like to have the choice) Anyone with an ounce of common sense would take steps to protect themselves, laws or no laws. So many activities are potentially dangerous but life is to be lived to the full. Of course no-one WANTS to die but it comes to us all eventually.
If you wear a helmet, then make sure it’s SECURELY fastened! If it flies off in the event of an accident (as in one of the posts above), then what is the point of having it on in the first place?
Motorcyclist for 30 years, Bike salesman everyday. My beautifull wife enjoys her bike just as much, and together we have travelled many miles over the lovely South African Roads. Here wearing a helmet is NON-NEGOTIABLE!!! Thank You South African law-makers for making the choice for me. On every delivery of a new bike to another client, I always have this advice:
1) EVERYTIME YOU GET ON YOUR BIKE, IS ALWAYS YOUR FIRST TIME.
2) ALL THE GEAR, ALL THE TIME, ALWAYS.
And being an active member of the CMA ( Christian Motorcycle Association )
3) BEFORE EVERY RIDE, ALWAYS INVITE JESUS TO RIDE WITH YOU!!
Owning a bike is the same as owning a Rottweiler dog. Give it love, it will love you. But you cannot expect to smack it on the head everyday, and then act surprised when one day it turns to bite your butt.
Sure, accidents happen, not always your fault. Neither is falling in the shower and hitting your head. Just do your part in securing your safety, and have your peace made with our Lord. Then enjoy the open roads and the freedom feeling it brings.
Safe ride to all my biker brothers and sisters out there.

I do not wear a helmet and make my wife wear one all the time. But after reading and hearing about people dying from not wearing one I am going to do so now.The thing that really bothers me the most is when I see these guys on these crotch rockets going 90 miles an hour on the highway in and out of lanes, sometimes with their female passenger on the back. All it takes is for for just one time a car do a lane change and or to have to stop suddenly and they are dead. And I ask myself , do they really understand that.In just a second, there life is over all because of a stupid act. They will never have children, get married, travel. And most of all they have left their family and friends to live with this sorrow forever.Life is so fragile, and to lose out on it over showing off or for any reason is truly sad.Once your gone theres no coming back!!! Take care and ride safe, Ron

Pete (00:06:59) :
Well said Ron. The road can be a dangerous place. Ride defensively - think ‘What if…’ and expect the unexpected. If you do that then you are much less likely to have an accident. As Ron said, life IS fragile. Riding like a maniac is like playing with fire - you might get away with it for a while but eventually you WILL get burned. Is it worth it? Only you can answer that.
If you DO want to ride like a maniac, go to a race track, put on your mad head and go nuts! Because there you wont hit any walls, lamp posts, vehicles or people! If you come off, you will probably be ok. Then, when you have got it out of your system, put your sensible head back on and get back on the road.

i have to admit it sucks to see another one bite the dust. however i have been on a bike sence i was 10 (my first dirt bike) and got a motorcycle the day i turned 16. any way all together i have been riding for 14 years now. and the state i live in it is only required to wear a helmet if u are under 21. and in my case i next to never wear a helmet… u may say im dumb, i call it dumb luck. everytime i have ever wore a helmet it almost got hit… (i never wore my helmet when i was under 21). the first time i wore a helmet i was cut off by a 18 wheeler and forced into a ditch, and the second i had an old hag run me up against a gard rale yelling dirty biker… lucky my bike can move when it has to. and the last time was just this past summer when a state police officer served into my lane on a highway… he must have dropped his donut. but the point is i beleive that if i were to wear my helmet i would already be gone. so leave it alone it was his choice not to and maybe even not his fault… most cars arent to worried if they hit a bike did u know that the fine of killing someone on a motorcycle is only a 100 dollar fine and a slap on the wrist… so if u see me and im not wearin my helmet that probably means im safe from u

I’m amazed at the amount of ignorance on both sides here. Wearing a helmet is no guarantee that you will survive an accident, it is a piece of safety gear designed to REDUCE the impact when you sustain a blow to the head. Think of how many helmet companies would be put out of business due to lawsuits if they claimed what some people believe.
Wearing a helmet also does not guarantee that you won’t need skin grafts, reconstructive surgery, and long-term rehab as a result of wearing a t-shirt, shorts, and flip-flops. It’s true that riding gear can be expensive, but the good stuff (do your research) is designed with your safety in mind…NOT necessarily to make you look cool.
If you choose not to wear a helmet for some reason, you can pull the “it’s my choice” card all you want, but at least keep a Dixie cup handy for the paramedics to scoop up your gray matter after the accident. If you wear an open-face or half-shell helmet, thank you, but be sure to have a photo I.D. on you so you can be identified when your face is gone.
When it boils down to it, we’re all adults and we each make our own decisions regardless of what others say. However, instead of worrying about how others will think you look in your lid and leathers, or that bullshit stereotypical answer about having the wind in your hair and the freedom of the road… think about the people you might leave behind and the pain felt by some of the people posting here.
For those who ride, be safe, be aware, keep the shiny side up, and remember that no matter how good a rider you think you are, gravity will catch up to you. For those who lost someone, you have my sincere condolences and I hope you find some way to overcome the grief, but never forget your loss. For the knuckleheads who think this is in any way funny, kharma is a bitch and Darwin has a BIG trophy with you name on it!!!
I’ve been on motorbikes for 47 years and have never had an accident with another vehicle probably because my Dad taught me how to ride defensively from age 12. Whenever anybody buys a motorbike, they need to be aware of the huge risk they are taking of being injured or worse, more so than driving a cager. To me, I say it is your life and the amount of protective gear you wear is entirely up to you. I do not like the fact that the Government in half the states say that you must wear a helmet when it is your head and not theirs. I think it is a money making scheme to collect taxes on every helmet sold. Having said that, it is my choice to gear up completely whenever I ride whether it is broiling hot outside or not. This happens to be my choice and my perfect safety score is because of this. Finally, to all you 2%ers out there (2 bikes for every 98 other vehicles on the road), be as safe as you want to be, have as much fun as you want to have and try to keep your rubber on the road. God bless all of you!
i lost my best friends, both were on theire bikes, not wearing helmets. they were going 1405mph on theire new zzr 1400 kawasaki’s. i was behind then on my gixxer. (i was not wearing a helmet) and mac (up front) slamed his brakes on and then carl (behing him) slamed into the back of him. both died instantly. i was so lucky. and now no matter how short or long the distance, i wear FULL PROTECTIVE GEAR!!! i hope if you read this you do to.

If you ride, you take a chance, just like driving a car, flying and crossing the street. Sometimes there is nothing you can do to avoid becoming a statistic, no matter what you wear or how careful you are. As far as im concerned, I do everything i can to protect myself. I wear a FULL FACE helmet, riding gloves, riding jacket, boots, and at the very least, jeans. If i get hit by a truck, im sure my gear isnt gong to do a damn thing, but, if i go sliding down the street and don’t hit anything, then ill walk away with very little damage. I have been down 3 times. It only took one time w/o gear to realize that shorts and a tee shirt were a bad idea. The people that claim a helmet is not nessesary have never seen someone faceplant on a street. I have and they walked away with a broken helmet. A bike can be fixed, a helmet can be replaced, your head cant. Period.

hello (17:09:51) :
You should always wear a helmet, but motorcycles are dangerous I’m not sure if even a helmet would have saved his life from this; drive save.
this is a perfect example of what can hapen if you don’t wear a helmet.
i see people riding without helmets far too often.
GOD BLESS US ALL.
i bneen in an accident like that and i didnt have an helmit on and i lived it. but now i wear an helmet and drive thim all the time
helmits ! if you went but I don’t it is my life. I have been riding 40 years, yes I have had an accident or two. Yes under age 18 wear a helmet over age 18 it’s me that lives or dies
the only reason for wearing a helmet is so your parents can have an open casket funneral
you know, why belive that a helmet would save your life?
Many of these things are true but if your one of those persons who wants a motorcycle and thinks twice about getting it hey just go for it just know that once you buy that motorcycle you are riding the devil or other wise a dangerous arm.
Damn that hurts
To Shannon. Thank you ever so much for making me laugh! Perhaps if you wore that helmet in your first accident you’d still be able to speak good English, and spell! LOL
my neighbour died a few days ago, he was on a motorbike
RIP Mustafa

boobs are big and juicy:)

I pose my question with all due respect and offer my heartfelt condolences for the trauma and loss you have experienced.
the first thin to learn when riding a bike is don’t use you head as a brake. glad theres jake asses out there to make me laugh.
p.s. at least the bikes ok.
poor guy. he was cute. i really wish he was my neighbor…
i would just like to say that zorylaine and marlene are fucking retards. this is like saying dont wear a seatbelt in a car because theres a chance that only your leg might be broken.
its rough out there,,,good luck
Garry, you are obviously a very sick individual who gets off on death and blood. You always have cruel and smart-ass comments. Doing something dumb doesnt mean you deserve to die. You need some professional help real bad. Please just shut your mouth upuntil you get to the shrink.
Okay who ever Anonymouse is dont ever let me catch you around!!! dude you seriously need help, all these people have had real incounters with those problems, and i dont think you have any idea what that kind of trama can do to someone. These people leaving comments are leaving them to help other people and there decision making, and you are just an asshole( sorry for the language all you kids and ladies)… You are right helmets can save lives and if they dont than they will save you long enough to say you’re goodbyes to the loved ones… For everyone that has had this problem in there life i send my condolenses and my respect for you’re loss, and i’m here for you.

hi
bad luck mate were a helmet next time but there wont be a next time hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
racist
Most states will have her serve prison time. and have her license permantly suspended some states do that as well.
i had an accident 2 days ago .it was very scary .my car was smash up very bad and don’ intend to fix it because i don’t plan to drive again.
my 17 yr old friend(one of myclosest) was killed in november on his motorcycle. his life was taken and now his friends dont get to see him graduate or go to prom or any of that and his mother is left without her only son(as well as only child). he was infact wearing his helmet but the dumbass old hag who caused his death decided she wanted to drive right in front of him and try and cross 3 lanes of traffic instead of waiting and took his life and almost his girlfriend’s. wearing a helmet does help save lives but its not the only answer and often times you cant blame the rider them self. one cannot control how someone else drives or the risks they are going to take. the victim in these pictures could have been completely that, a victim, he could have been doing everything right and driving cautiously so dont always be quick to blame the rider. however i do believe that wearing a helmet is a necessity and every time i pass someone on a motorcycle and they arent wearing a helmet it upsets me because no one should have to go through the pain of losing someone like that, especially so young…
RIP Jon Harrigan
WoW!!! I think the FIRST thing MOST of you should do is learn to write. Oh hell… even if you just learn to spell HALF or your words correctly you would be doing alright. SERIOUSLY!!!! helmit? motercycle? weather? dying unnecessary? funneral? (and that’s just a FEW) If you drive your cars as dumb as most of you sound, maybe you should be the ones wearing helmets… in the back of the short bus!
Wearing a helmet should be a personal choice so should wearing a seatbelt, everyone dies one day no matter how many stoopid laws you make you can’t stop people from dying
Kim finally someone that answered with the right grammer and spelling. You said it all.
Proud to be American!
Why drivers dont respect motorcycles? The answer is …because the penalty is cheap.
Lisa

God rest that poor mans soul. I was riding my motorcycle 2 years ago when I got hit by a truck. I was ok and the driver of the truck got out and apologized then proceeded to rape my tight butthole with his huge uncircumsized cock. It felt good, I’d say he was at least 10 inches. Thank god I was wearing a helmit that day or I would have never recieved the awsome anal penitration after being struck.
that’s not even here in U.S…the helmet is probably too expensive.
to garry you are a sick son of a bitch you need to go to hell and the jackass that said do not post comments to garry go fuck your self.
lolly ur still moen put some productive txt in please
We should not require people to wear helmets, but at the same time those who opt not to wear them should be entitled to NO SSI, no assistance when they become para or quadriplegic, no insurance settlements, so sympathy, no nothing. I had one bad wreck when hit head-on by a teen in ‘68. Cracked the helmet, smashed the leg, but lived to spend 14 active years in the Marines. Yea, we word helmets and flack jackets there. Men act like men.
First ,Sorry to seeing the above picture, I just survivedfrom a car accident, I do want to say the helmets in case motorcycle as well as the safebelt in case a car. now I want to call the safebelt as lifebelt, I would left all of you without the safebelt.

wa wa wa people are free to do what they want. he chose to throw his leg over that ride he didnt have to pass. you take a chance evry day wether in a car or on a bike or even walking dont let one simple statement run your life. helmet or no helmet just ride and if the good lord comes knockin you letem in.
DONT WORRY AND REMOVE THE HELMET OF YOUR HEAD AND DRIVE YOU HYABUSA 1350 CC TURBO TO MAXIMUM SPEED 379KM AND DONT TRY TO WEAR ANY THING JUST DRIVE FAST SPEED IN CITY ………..
i have a good idea, dont ride bikes!
Life is fleeting - make the most of it!
FATALITY!!!
Let me just say to all of the families and friends of these tragedies,I am so sorry for your loss.I am 45 and have been riding now about 9 years.
THINK!
BRAAAAAIN ! I WANT TO EAT BRAAAAAIN !

WHEN IT’S YOUR TIME, IT’S YOUR TIME!! DOESN’T MATTER WHEN OR WHERE U ARE, GOD HAS A DATE SET FOR EACH OF US!! BUT HE DOES GIVE US OUR OWN FREE WILL…IF YOU DECIDE TO TAKE RISKS, BE READY TO SUFFER AND ACCEPT THE CONSEQUENCES!!! ALL THE PEOPLE WHO HAVEN’T DIED YET, RIDING MOTORCYCLES WITHOUT YOUR HELMETS DIDN’T LUCK OUT!! IT’S JUST NOT YOUR TIME YET!!IF YOU HAVE HAD A FEW ACCIDENTS ALREADY, AND SURVIVED…..DUDE!! GET THE MESSAGE ALREADY!!! A HELMET WILL SAVE YOUR LIFE 89% OF THE TIME!!!!
i feel bad for that guys butthole

like no one thought would happen. motercycles crashing, maimed bodies whoda thunk.
my mom is a doctor and every night she brings home pictures of people with no heads that where brot to st. josifs hosptil so i see a lot of gory stof.
i have to admit it sucks to see another one bite the dust. however i have been on a bike sence i was 10 (my first dirt bike) and got a motorcycle the day i turned 16. any way all together i have been riding for 14 years now. and the state i live in it is only required to wear a helmet if u are under 21. and in my case i next to never wear a helmet… u may say im dumb, i call it dumb luck. everytime i have ever wore a helmet it almost got hit… (i never wore my helmet when i was under 21). the first time i wore a helmet i was cut off by a 18 wheeler and forced into a ditch, and the second i had an old hag run me up against a gard rale yelling dirty biker… lucky my bike can move when it has to. and the last time was just this past summer when a state police officer served into my lane on a highway… he must have dropped his donut. but the point is i beleive that if i were to wear my helmet i would already be gone. so leave it alone it was his choice not to and maybe even not his fault… most cars arent to worried if they hit a bike did u know that the fine of killing someone on a motorcycle is only a 100 dollar fine and a slap on the wrist… so if u see me and im not wearin my helmet that probably means im safe from u
stupid is as stupid does
a helmet saved my life
I’m amazed at the amount of ignorance on both sides here.

Period.
my brother in law was killed..on a motercycle..he was wearing a helmet and he was going under 100 km… every bone in his body were broke except 3.. helmets should be worn but bikes shouldnt be driven.. if you dont die someone else will.. is it worth it?? i dont think so
You should always wear a helmet, but motorcycles are dangerous I’m not sure if even a helmet would have saved his life from this; drive save.
