The top picture of the little boy maybe the thing that has finally gotten the message across to my 10 year old nephew that he must respect and fear the traffic on his busy street. Nothing else has worked. This is not an image that I wished for him to have in his brain, but felt it was necessary when he stepped out into traffic on his way to school without even looking. I was driving in front of his house on my way to work, hoping to get a glimpse of the kids on their way to school. I was driving 15 mph in a 45 mph zone, going slow to better my chances to see them. Even though I was actively looking for one of the kids, I did not see Bubby who was standing in front of a very tall PT Cruiser. If I had been doing the regular speed limit, I would have most definately hit him. I would not have been able to stop no matter what I would have done. I found out he was upset with his Mom over an “outfit” squabble that morning and was not thinking. So please, let’s watch out for the kids out there, especially before and after school, around schools, playgrounds, and in residential districts. No one wishes to be the cause of a picture like the one above being taken.

this kind of pictures should be on bilboards and DMV offices for every one to see. im not sure who are the worse drivers the drunk drivers or the ones who are not drunk?
idk, those are some horrible pictures.. but they shouldnt be posted.. some ppl should have some respect for those victims familys… maybe a lil kid running in a street and gettin killed should prove a point.. but we all know it doesnt… kids are kids… why do u think there called kids.. they still need time to develope and grow and learn… soem people need to undertstand that….
As someone who has been called out to numerous fatal accidents over the last 4 years I can say that these pictures are very real… It is sad to realize that someone lost a family member in each of these photos but at the same time i think the question “are these real?” kind of sums it up… these pictures look so much worse than hollywood or tv depicts but this is the reality of it… Its not a pretty picture at all and hopefully everyone who looks at these will take the extra time to drive a little more carefully or not drink and get behind a wheel because the reality is much nastier than it is portayed. I have responded to over 50 fatal accidents nearly all caused by carelessness one way or another…
I drive truck for a living. I see images nearly as bad on a regular basis. I wish everyone could ingrain this imagry in their heads. I KNOW it would impact at least enough of those whose attention is drawn away toward other things while they are driving to drastically reduce the number of accidents I see. I can safely say that every accident I see is from one cause: stupid. There is no shortage of it on the freeways.
that was so terrible!!!! it made me feel like picking up a knife and cutting my own throat open!!!!! jesus christ im so dam emo!!!! i wish i was in those images with my face splatted all over the sidewalk and pieces of glass hanging out of me, maybe if people saw my tortured body they might just care!!!! ok im going to kill myself now… goodbye world.

WHAT why would someone post this for everyone to see?????????As I was viewing these devastating pictures for a project my teacher Ms. Reynolds assigned the class my eyes filled with tears and my heart filled with sorrow. I then realized why they would post somthing this shocking. As I looked at the pictures again I couldn’t bare to think of one of the children to be my little newphew or one of my cousins. The reality of the pictures are breathtaking. Hopefully they will send a message out to kids, parents, and drivers to be more alert of whats around them. However I don’t think many kids will see the reality and just put it in the back of thier head. I wish thier was a way that everyone could see these pictures and hear the stories exspecially the teenagers just getting their licenses. My prayers go out to the families and their beloved diceased.May GOD be with you
sites like this should be available to everyone without having to search for it so they could see how mixing drugs, alcohol, or stupid behvior with driving to hopefully see how thier life could end up if they make wrong decisions.

Even the reality of these shocking should send a message to all its viewers I dont think it will send a strong enough message to some of the teenagers. Most teenagers that had the oppurtunity to see the reality of car accidents would just look at it and maybe dwell on it for a moment but they wouldn’t take it to heart everytime they got behind the wheel of a car or all in all in a car . When teenagers are with thier friends they don’t think about anything but a good time. Teenagers dont realy take in the reality of a car accidents until it happens to them or someone they know however as unbelivable this may sound even then some still dwell on it a little then go about being a teenager again. Even though these pictures may not change a persons dicisions when it comes to being in a car or even walking on the streets I think flyers with these pictures and the stories about the pictures should be made and handed out to all kids and even elders because it might hit 1 out of every 10 who recieve it. I would make the flyers myself but only with the consents of the families. So if your a family member of someone in the pictures above and would like me to make flyers of your story so that i could reach out to other teenagers like me, please send me an e-mail at lil_smiley61@yahoomail.com with a picture of your beloved diseased and a brief story of what happened and assure me of your consent to make flyers. This is as real as its gets people, Every person who gets behind the wheel of a car should see this, yes this is sad and it could happen to anyone and it must be looked at by all ages, this is the end of what happens after drinking and driving, might not be today or the next night but it will happen to someone know and love…… Rest in peace Tony age 19 KILLED BY A DRINK DRIVER.
this is bad really that due to some harsh drivin drivers didn’t think that they have also kids. this is sorrowfull

im looking at these pictures for a school project im devistated it definatelty makes me think twice.

Hi Im from New Zealand but i never seen accidents like i see in these pictures very sad for those who lost their love ones and may God be with them always.

those were ok not the best blood and guts iv seen but ok. i think its funny that people jump to the conclusion that the drivers were drunk or on drug. they could have been black, asin, or even mexican. yes i believe they were but any ways not bad not bad at all.

like some one said before me, they may not all have been on drugs or drunk but thier stupidity with out it is enough, but drugs and alchohal can only mke things worse.
also stupidity is not the word that i should use because its not the drivers fault all the time, somethingt jusmps out on the road, driver hits it and its blamed on them because they couldnt react fast enough. what can i say? accidents happen.
