See…this is what happens when people follow too close. I’m a school bus driver & it’s amazing as to how people stupidly drive. Give buses the common courtesy & respect out on the road. I carry 70 elementary school kids every day & that’s 70 lives that dumb people like that endanger. Besides, what’s the point in tailgating a school bus?? It’s not like the driver is going to speed up or move over just so the person will get off his tail. That happens to me everyday & I still don’t understand that….

following to close yer but hey bud we have had buses pull out on us all the time when we were halfway up the side of it, and we also knew someone that a busdriver deliberately pulled out on him and he was killed.

The reason the hummer went under the bus is simple. In almost all accidents like this invoveling bus’s, semi’s, and other large vechiles. The other car goes under them because the shocks allow the other larger mode of transport to raise and then the smaller one goes under neath. This combined with speeds greater than 40 mph well.. basic math and science say it all. I’m a Paramedic I see dumb things like this ALL the time.

Never thought a hummer would get slayed by a school bus. Least it’s comforting to know that our children are in a safe vehicle going to school
well that’s what we at the body shop would call “Total Loss.” On the positive side,our kids are pretty safe in those buses if it can take a hit from a 5800 lb vehicle like that.

school busses are made really strong to protect kids of couse ists gonna win, those black bumpers there are made out of iron../hummer plastic and sheet metal no car stands a chance.
