Car Accident Pictures

The car shown was hit as it turned in to the path of the loaded Semi Truck. Car was hit on the passenger side and was pushed off the road, clipped the corner of a house and came to rest against a tree. Two passengers, one female and a small child died as a result. My fiance and I were on our way home from Horseneck Beach in westport Ma about 7pm july 30th 2002. After a stop for an icream cone we were going east on Rt 195 towards Providence R.I.

Location: Rock Road and Glenn Hills Drive, Derby Kansas
Injury: Abraison on lower back from Lumbar Support, Mild Concussion and Moderate Whiplash
What Happened:
I was stopped, turning left into a residential neighborhood on Rock Road (a 4 lane, main drag from Wichita to Derby). I was watching oncoming traffic (the light ahead of me about 1.5 blocks just turned green), and checking my rearview mirror. I noticed a large red truck coming at me at a very fast speed. I assumed that the driver may have been experiencing break failure because he was not slowing down or changing into the other lane. I punched the gas to try to avoid impact, assuming if he did have breaks, he’d see me by now and slow down, but I was hit anyway. Upon impact, my hands flew off my steering wheel and turned my wipers on full-blast, and I was lifted (but held in by my seatbelt) in my seat, where I received a rug-burn abraision on my lower back. It was on March 16 of 2003 when I was driving down HWY O in Pacific, Missouri.
My Jeep veered to the right, I overcorrected it, and went to hit a car head on. That sent me and my friend rolling 5-8 times and eventually we got thrown out, with my Jeep landing on its roof. Read the rest of this entry »

I can not Stress this enough: KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE ROAD!!!
Early summer of 2000, Conifer, Colorado. My parents had just bough me a new (to me) 1993 Toyota Tacoma. It was my first car since I had just turned 16 that April.
Due to a forest fire that was getting dangerously close to our home we were forced to evacuate, since i had the only truck in the family that had a camper shell on it, the majority of out larger belongings (i.e. file cabinets, computers, photos…) were kept in my truck. On September 5, 2003, at about 10:15, 5 people were injured in a head-on collision. My name is Alisha, im 15. Their were 3 people including myself, in the fan pictured above. We were on our way home from the Outback. On Rt.45 West, Martinsburg , West Virginia.
When we came around a sharp turn, and going on the straight-a-way. A jeep, with no headlights, and 2 drunk people, came left to center, and hit us head on. The jeep ramped up onto us, and flipped, while it was on the roof of our car, and went into a 5 foot ditch. The guy that was driving our van, was sent air care to Fairfax, Virginia 2 1/2 hours away.

I was on my way from Long Island NY to Carlisle Pennsylvania to see the annual Corvette show there this past August. Just over the crest of a hill was an accident that reminded me of one that I was in, in Switzerland last winter.

This accident occured May 28th 2003 In Midland Michigan. The 2002 Chevrolet Suburban my sister and my parents were travelling in on Us-10 just outside of the city of Midland hit a slippery spot from the previous rain and fishtailed into the path a semi Truck. The semi hit the left side spinning the suburban into the other lane in front of another semi which struck them on the front corner of the drivers side bending and twisting the entire front of the car. The car spun and came to a sudden stop along the side of the freeway.

Simple yet true. I had gone to my boyfriend’s hometown the weekend of my birthday. It was Saturday November 2nd, 2002. We had decided to pile into two cars and go to Best Buy to buy of all video games, Vice City.
The guys starts start racing in the cars on our way. My boyfriend’s younger brother was driving the camaro. He had his best friend sitting next to him. The driver of the car I was in never saw him when he cut across two lanes. Read the rest of this entry »
